Natalie Gauci – Pre-idol career.
Hey all… sorry for spamming with you with blog posts this week, but I can’t help myself.
Milorad Ivovic has been commenting my blog recently, and you should all go out and check his blog over at www.ivovic.com it is a great blog with thoughts on a variety of topics. He puts a lot of effort into each post – it’s very worth the read.

Anyway, he links to a cool site on his blog called www.archive.org which has a “way back” machine, where you can check out archives of old websites. This inspired me to check out www.nataliegauci.com.au which currently only links to her profile on the Idol OS.
Check it out here: http://web.archive.org/web/20070703163123/http://www.nataliegauci.com.au/
You can heard some radio clips and some clips of her earlier stuff!! I really want her EP!!

I actually ordered the EP off her site but it strangely never arrived.
The songs that are on it are available on her MySpace however though so all is not lost!

I’ve seen this before, but I just love that picture of Natalie on the EP cover – those eyes! They say that the eyes are the mirror of the soul – need I say any more… <3

I actually saw Nat earlier this year by complete co-incidence. I was in Melbourne visiting my sister and we went to this cool little jazz club ‘Paris Cat’ and Nat was playing along with a band under the name the Red Hot Peppers.
I’m a great fan of jazz standards so I was a little skeptical at first with the original jazz pieces but after a while they really grew on me! Fantastic!

I think Jazz is at it’s coolest when a good improv comes together… interestingly, I love Melbourne’s Jazz scene, but I’ve never seen Natalie live.
I’ve been missing out.
Those ‘rock’ songs on her myspace/EP etc are pretty crap, but I really dig her voice and her interpretation of covers. I also think she’s really learned a lot backstage at Idol, so I’m really looking forward to a promising career and some better originals from her.

“This inspired me to check out http://www.nataliegauci.com.au which currently only links to her profile on the Idol OS”
Strange that your inspiration only came after this had been posted on the forum. Get over yourself, tryhard.

On which forum? if you’re talking about the scum infested Australian Idol forums.. and you are an active participant there…then I completely understand why you’re such a tool.
My sincere thoughts are with you!

he must be the guy who posted the link on the idol forums… nobody else would get upset that someone had the same idea at pretty much the same time.
I wonder if he beats the shit out of his neighbours for having coffee in the morning, 5 minutes after he has his.

j.d., you know that your post was deceiptful. There was no sign of this before others were posting about Natalie’s website and her past history. You’re obviously not capable of sincere thoughts, so lying just adds to the childishness. Milorad, I suppose you’re one of those neighbours that nobody has the time of day for so your response is laughable, at best.
No surprises here huh.

Sam, you may be one of the smartest people on that 5th grader show, but off-stage you got nothing on the rest of us.
Lets examine your premise:
Interestingly you believe that only one person is capable of thinking to him/herself “hey, I wonder what was at this domain before idol”…
Your whole premise is bullshit. No doubt there are countless thousands who’ve done this before you and your butt-buddies, and hence before J.D as well…
How is that relevant at all? How can you claim copyright on looking up a bloody website?…
You’re an attention-seeking little boy with a superiority complex, who has decided to pick on perhaps the most interesting, and certainly the most prolific blogger on this site. Way to choose a target, shit-for-brains.
Why not go out on a limb and blog something of your own. Contribute to the community instead of spewing your malformed bullshit premises on everyone else’s work?
Pull your fucking head in, you little minge.
